About us

Our Story — A Journey of Learning & Building

We didn’t start from boardrooms—we started from the field. From places where ideas had to meet action, where real people and real problems demanded real solutions. That’s where Jahesh was born—an experience that wasn’t just a project, but a learning ground, a testing lab, and a builder’s workshop.

Over the years, our path expanded—from designing startup programmes in Iran to developing innovation spaces, partnering with universities, and helping create ecosystems that still thrive today. We moved deliberately, not hastily—documenting every step, analysing every outcome, and shaping a methodology built on real-world insight.

That knowledge and experience now power Jump Lab—designed for those who want to build their businesses with clarity, structure, and long-term resilience. To us, success isn’t just about execution; it’s about building systems that continue to grow—even when you’re no longer there to run them.

This is our story. Not a tale of perfection, but a real journey of learning, building, and turning experience into wisdom.

Mission

Our mission is to make structured, real-world business-building accessible to every entrepreneur—through a tested methodology that replaces guesswork with clarity, insight, and reliable execution. We design systems, not shortcuts—helping businesses grow with confidence, scalability, and long-term impact.

Vision

We envision a future where Jump Lab’s methodology becomes the global standard for building and scaling businesses—structured, actionable, and grounded in real-world wisdom. Our mission is to continuously refine this standard, making it smarter, more accessible, and adaptable to the evolving needs of entrepreneurs worldwide.

Our Values, Rooted in Action

At Jump Lab, our values aren’t just words—they are decisions in motion. They guide how we work, whom we work with, and what we choose to build. Every project we take on is an opportunity to create not just business success, but real, positive change for people and the planet.
We believe meaningful innovation must be responsible, thoughtful, and lasting. That’s why we build systems that scale, designs that inspire, and strategies that leave room for impact—now and in the future.

Built Over Time, Backed by Experience

In a world often obsessed with speed, we chose depth. Jump Lab was not built overnight—it grew layer by layer, shaped by hands-on experience, bold experiments, and a relentless commitment to doing things the right way. Each year added clarity, structure, and resilience to the path we now offer others. This is not just a timeline; it’s a story of deliberate progress—a journey of refining a methodology designed to empower businesses to grow sustainably, with confidence and clarity.

Before the Beginning

Before we had an official name, we were already part of Iran’s growing innovation ecosystem. Starting in 2013, our founders began their journey by organising entrepreneurial Events across the country—from startup weekends and hackathons to representing Iran at global events like Pirate Summit and Seedstars World.
These were years of listening, learning, and laying the groundwork. From mentoring student teams to curating talks and exhibitions, we weren’t just observers—we were planting the seeds of what would eventually become Jahesh’s DNA.

Before the Beginning

The Launch of a Vision

After years of hands-on experience in Iran’s startup ecosystem, one thing became clear: there was incredible untapped talent across the country, especially among students hungry to shape the future.

In 2016, this realisation gave birth to Jahesh. We began with Jahesh Academy—launched in collaboration with Shahid Beheshti University—to equip students with the skills and mindset needed to enter the world of startups. The overwhelming interest confirmed we were on the right path.

Later that year, our first call for acceleration attracted over 120 early-stage teams. By the end of the year, Jahesh had secured official recognition as an Accelerator from Pardis Technology Park and was certified as a knowledge-based company by the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology.

It was the beginning of a new chapter—one rooted in education, access, and the belief that every great venture starts with the right foundation.

The Launch of a Vision

The First Acceleration Cycle Begins

Following the enthusiastic response to our educational Events and growing interest from student teams, a new chapter began for Jahesh. In collaboration with Shahid Beheshti University, we secured a dedicated floor within the Faculty of Cognitive Science and Biotechnology to launch our Co-working and Acceleration space.

This space became the home of our first acceleration cohort, where nine selected startups moved in and began developing their ideas and building their initial products.

By the end of the year, a partnership agreement was signed with Tandis Investment Group, securing the financial backing needed to support both the first and second startup cohorts. This strategic collaboration laid a solid economic foundation for the accelerator program and transformed our vision for hands-on startup development into a tangible, impactful initiative.

The First Acceleration Cycle Begins

Second Acceleration Cycle & Growing Resilience

In 2018, we launched our second startup Acceleration cycle. From over 100 applicants, 7 standout startups were selected for investment and residency. Despite the economic turbulence and inflation in the country that year, we remained focused on supporting and educating our teams with a strong emphasis on resilience and long-term growth.

Successful alumni from this cycle—such as AsanSport and BaniCaster—demonstrated the real potential of structured acceleration. Since then, Jahesh has consistently ranked among the top five accelerators in Iran and continues to be one of the few long-standing, active players in the ecosystem.

Second Acceleration Cycle & Growing Resilience

Designing & Scaling Innovation Infrastructures

Following the success of our early innovation initiatives at Shahid Beheshti University and growing collaborations across Iran’s startup ecosystem, 2019 marked a turning point in Jahesh’s journey toward building large-scale innovation infrastructures. At the request of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, we conducted an in-depth study of global innovation ecosystems, resulting in the publication of a comprehensive framework titled "Designing a Smart City Innovation Hub in the Middle East." The proposal was welcomed by key players, including the Innovation Fund, Tehran Municipality, top universities, and telecom providers.

In line with this vision, we partnered with Islamic Azad University to design, launch, and manage one of the largest innovation hubs in Iran—spanning 10 floors and over 8,000 square meters in the heart of Tehran. This space was conceived as a dynamic platform for startups, academia, and industry to converge. The hub was later rebranded and repositioned under the name Dr. Gharib Innovation Building. This chapter marked our evolution from ecosystem participants to infrastructure architects—pioneering the design and operationalisation of innovation spaces at scale.

Designing & Scaling Innovation Infrastructures

The Year of Expansion and Transition

In 2020, amid the global pandemic and the shutdown of universities, we took a significant step forward. Moving into a 1,200-square-metre building on Forsat Street in central Tehran, we laid the foundation for a fully-fledged innovation ecosystem. This transition symbolised more than a change of address—it marked a strategic upgrade in our organisational identity.

That same year, we became the first private entity in Iran to receive official recognition from the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology as an Innovation Space Developer—a milestone that elevated our role from accelerator to ecosystem architect. This recognition led to the establishment of a Co-working space with a 110-seat capacity, enabling us to support a broader community of startups.

It was here that we launched our venture studio, which would later evolve into what is now known as Jump Lab. The studio began offering strategic and execution-driven services to various companies, becoming a catalyst for digital innovation. Our shared space became home to fast-growing startups like Podro, DrDr, and Farsi.

Meanwhile, our accelerator shifted from fixed annual cohorts to a continuous intake model, making our support more accessible and responsive. That year, we worked with promising ventures such as Mupra, CoCo, Vajaro, Pachalchi, Asanism, and Faris—marking a new era of agile acceleration, infrastructure growth, and deep engagement with the local startup scene.

The Year of Expansion and Transition

Deepening Structure, Expanding Vision

2021 marked a pivotal year in our journey—where our vision matured into a more structured and multidimensional organisation. We launched specialised departments including Investment, Coworking Space Management, Online Education, and our Startup Studio under an Open innovation model. This strategic expansion reflected our growing role as a central player in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Jahesh Park, our coworking space, reached full capacity and maintained a consistent waiting list throughout the year. This overwhelming demand affirmed that we had identified the right challenge at the right time—and had built the right solution in the right place.

In parallel, Jahesh Academy evolved in response to the pandemic, transitioning from in-person workshops to high-quality online courses. In collaboration with leading tech brands in Iran, we produced a new wave of educational video content tailored to aspiring entrepreneurs and students across the country. Recognising the broader impact of accessible knowledge, we redefined this initiative as part of our CSR mission—offering all our educational content free of charge.

We also took a significant step by officially launching our startup studio, Jump Lab. Building on years of hands-on experience, we developed a portfolio of services tailored for scalable digital ventures, formed strategic partnerships, and tested our offerings with clients across neighbouring countries and North America.

That same year, we invested in two new startups, hosted several specialised events, and began identifying key design and development teams to support our growing startup studio. 2021 was a year of intentional building—a foundation that continues to support our growing international ambitions.

Deepening Structure, Expanding Vision

Bridging Ecosystems, Expanding Boundaries

By 2022, it was clear that sustainable growth could no longer be achieved through internal efforts alone. We needed meaningful partnerships—with industries, institutions, and international markets. With the addition of Dr Pedram Varshowkar to our board, we launched a new chapter of collaboration. From advising large organisations to designing innovation centres and introducing creative financing models like crowdfunding and NFTs, we began playing an active role in shaping the broader innovation landscape in Iran.

At the same time, we recognised that entering global markets required more than just global ambition—it demanded the right legal structure. We chose London as our international base, not only because it’s one of the world’s most dynamic startup hubs, but because it gave us direct access to global players. By the end of the year, we had officially registered our UK entity, and Amir Ebrahimiparsa, a key shareholder and long-time contributor, relocated to London to lead this international mission.

2022 was also the year we began testing our services beyond Iran. In Canada, we collaborated with startups such as Bluepay, Smart Mirror, Smooth Road, and Cut Flower, helping them strengthen their brand presence and digital infrastructure. Meanwhile, in Azerbaijan, we developed an educational platform for the Silkway airline to support employee upskilling and internal career development.

Domestically, we benefited from the legal guidance of Dr Hamed Edrisian, who helped structure our key partnerships. In parallel, Kaveh Goodarzi co-founded the Iranian Coworking Association under the Iran Chamber of Commerce and served on its board—further solidifying our role as a national infrastructure builder in the innovation space.

2022 was the year we started connecting the dots—between players, between nations, and between ideas that deserve to scale.

Bridging Ecosystems, Expanding Boundaries

A Year of Breakthroughs and Expanding Horizons

The year 2023 marked a defining chapter in our journey, filled with record-breaking initiatives, strategic collaborations, and bold expansion across both national and international frontiers. With a refreshed visual identity and renewed focus on ecosystem-building, Jump Lab continued its mission to advance innovation in tangible and impactful ways.

One of the highlights of the year was our co-hosting of CS50xTehran—the largest free programming and AI course in Iran’s history, held in collaboration with Harvard University and attended by over 30,000 participants. This milestone reinforced our commitment to accessible, high-quality education at scale.

We also launched our second coworking space, Jahesh Park Allameh, located at Allameh Tabataba’i University. This 800-square-metre space with 80 desks quickly became a dynamic hub for startups and young entrepreneurs. Our strategic partnership with the university led to the creation of the “Future Voyage” event series—dedicated to inspiring dialogue and forward-thinking among students and innovators.

In the international arena, Jump Lab Startup Studio expanded its client portfolio by providing tailored services to a number of promising startups, including OpiodX, Potscoin, Solar, Solacony Solar, Future Kids, Gaia, and GP Tutor. Building on these collaborations, we launched our Open Innovation platform, inspired by P&G’s Connect + Develop model, and began offering innovation-focused consultancy to large Iranian corporations and holding groups.

This year also saw key partnerships with institutions such as the National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (NIGEB), Islamic Azad University, and Baloot Financial Group, assisting them in developing innovation centres and navigating the startup investment landscape. Notably, our advisory support enabled the launch of the Innovation arm of Donya-e-Eqtesad, one of Iran’s most respected Economic newspapers—focusing on tokenised venture capital and new technologies.

Perhaps most significantly, 2023 marked a major step forward in our global readiness. We successfully incorporated our UK legal entity under the name Jahesh LTD, registered our VAT status, and opened corporate bank accounts in London. These foundational steps not only legitimised our international presence but also paved the way for seamless collaboration with global partners and clients in the years ahead.

A Year of Breakthroughs and Expanding Horizons

Strengthening Innovation Infrastructure

In 2024, Jahesh focused on reinforcing the national innovation ecosystem through impactful programmes and strategic collaborations.

In winter, Jahesh was officially appointed as a strategic advisor to the Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology, and Innovation. One of the key outcomes of this collaboration was the organisation of the Grand Assembly of Iran’s Accelerators, gathering 50 accelerators from 15 provinces—a landmark event that fostered unprecedented synergy within the country’s entrepreneurial landscape.

In spring, HAKA Master—part of the INOTEX 2024 exhibition—was held at Pardis Technology Park, featuring seven expert-led workshops and five experience-sharing panels, benefiting over 250 participants. This was followed by HAKA Quiz, an open innovation fintech ideation competition in collaboration with Finova and Ertebat Farda.

In summer, Bazrpashan, a unique event designed for capacity building, networking, and VC fundraising, was launched. Seven top accelerator managers pitched to investors, securing over 1 Million GBP in funding commitments.

In autumn, Jahesh began serving as an official service provider for promoting the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Act, offering training on tax incentives and supporting universities, startups, and industrial partners in leveraging this policy for their growth.

Meanwhile, Jump Lab continued expanding its global reach by adding new SME clients such as Woolley's, Crown Clinic London, and D&A Repair to its portfolio. This marked a pivotal shift in strategy: making premium innovation services accessible to SMEs.

By redesigning traditionally high-cost services into scalable, systematised formats, we made expert-driven innovation affordable and practical for smaller businesses—without compromising quality. This breakthrough not only disrupted the traditional delivery model but opened new pathways for sustainable and inclusive growth in the digital economy.
